Skill Enhancement and Training Initiative (SETI)

Activities of the earlier Centre for Media and Allied Training (C-MAT) are now laid out on-line. In a first-of-its-kind initiative, SETI offers short and medium-term training modules. designed to suit individual needs.

The objective is to prepare media practitioners for the new and emerging technologies in news dissemination, content generation, on-line platform and copy-editing.

Media awareness programmes

MCRF has the privilege of being associated in a nation-wide media facilitation and awareness programme on nuclear energy, with support from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL), a Government of India undertaking. Activities to create awareness about nuclear energy have been organised in cities in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Delhi.

The activities include: slogan writing and quiz competition, poster and painting competition, screening of educational films, special lectures and question-answer sessions by experts, "run-for energy" and distribution of information material.

Nuclear Energy Awareness Programme

In this initiative supported by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a Government of India Undertaking, MCRF has been involved in conducting public awareness about nuclear energy across India through a series of activities.
